I am somewhere around 95% certain that 2 of my grades will be A's. That is nice.
I still have yet to pack a single item. Whatever.
I have made purchases. That is always good. Purchases for the new master bath. Ooh! Exciting! (Please note the sarcasm)
Tom was officially offered his position at the TGC pharmacy today. He starts his week-long orientation (FROM HELL- I hated that week, personally) on Monday and then I guess he'll start working in the pharmacy the Monday after that. He has lots of vacation time to cash out so he'll be getting a few more paychecks from the bookstore for awhile.
I might get my Masters in Social Work. This is a new concept for me and I don't really know a lot about it. More on this later?
Boys are stupid sometimes. He rolls his eyes and says he doesn't care what any of the rooms in the new place look like, but then when we go to grab the towels I've picked out, he asks me why we can't have a different color. Dumb. Oh no, you don't care what the bathroom looks like, just as long as the towels are ORANGE so that they can CLASH beautifully with the GREEN shower curtain. Idiot. Even after I point out that they would look hideous together, he argues that a dark brown would look better. Or what about a different shade of green? IF YOU DON'T CARE, THEN STOP CARING! I sort of remember him doing this last time too. If only I were capable of learning from past experiences. I love him.
I am working 11 straight hours the day before we move. I just found that out. I'm working noon-11pm on Friday and then waking up at about 7:30 AM on Saturday so I can move all morning, go back to work at 3, and be there until 11 again. This pattern will continue until I have a day off on Tuesday. Anytime I am at home, I will be carrying boxes up three flights of stairs of unpacking those boxes. Have I mentioned how much I hate moving? Oh, and it turns out I'll be covering shifts and most likely working at least one 16 hour day the week that we have to get out of the old place. No worries though, I didn't actually want to catch up on all that sleep I missed out on from finals. Not a problem.
