Sick + Utada album impression
So I'm sick with a cold. And I have laryngitis! This is the first time that this happened to me from what I can remember and it just sucks. Well, I did get to go home from work and I'm not going to work tomorrow, but I'd rather go to work than deal with a cold. Went to the doctor and she told me that this virus has been going around and the laryngitis lasts for a freaking week and the cold lasts for about 2. FUUUUUCCKKKK. I'm set to go to Oahu in a couple of weeks and I'm really hoping that I'm done being sick by then. Especially because I'm going to do karaoke for the FIRST time. Yes, I'm a karaoke virgin. I already have a list of songs that I plan to sing. Will reveal that later on though.
Speaking of being sick, I don't know why, but I cannot sleep. I think it's partially because my coughing is keeping me up and I'm drinking a new type of tea and I don't know if the caffeine is affecting me. Either way, I'm tired, I need to sleep and it just isn't working. :/
Anyway, I'm listening to Utada's "This Is The One" album and it's damn good. I can't stand the "Poppin'" song though. Too irritating. The rest of the songs are great, so do check it out. Especially if you didn't enjoy Exodus. This one flows together more. Not sure about the lyrics because I'm just using it as background music now, but I'm guessing there are no Japanesey-like lines in this album. Hopefully.
Regarding the rumored Utada concert that was mentioned will be in Hawaii, I read a post on a friend's Facebook that it was mentioned on another radio station too, so it really could be possible. Will update if there are any other news. If this is true, I *have* to go. I just gotta cross my fingers that it's when I'm free to go.
And I gotta mention that I really need to respond to comments. I've just been too lazy, preoccupied, spacy, and all that fun stuff. :/
