No, I'm not dead. Just occupied by real life stuff (sort of) and I really should write an entry about some things that happened recently. It will explain why I've been MIA on LJ and also the main forum I frequent for the past few months. And why I'm not really into doing drama trades and crap. At least I'm still watching dramas...
I watched
Hitotsu Yane no Shita 1 a little while back because of someone's recommendation. It was a really nice drama even though I was really annoyed by Eguchi Yousuke's overbearing, stubborn, older brother role. If I reviewed this when I just finished watching it, I'd have more to say, but not right now. I should really start on reviewing stuff as I'm watching it. As for the second series, though I already have it, I might be getting another copy from someone, so I'll start on that season later on...
Finished
SCANDAL the other day. It was a really great drama even though the ending wasn't as good as the rest of the series. One of my favorite actors, Kohinata Fumiyo, was wonderful as the detective. Momoi Kaori was the best character though. Her sassy, sarcastic attitude won me over and her love/hate scenes with Fumiyo are awesome. Also loved the "Bara Hime no Mori" scenes. It kinda made me want to make a silly fantasy blog just to amuse myself. Hmmm..I just realized that Suzuki Kyoka and Hasegawa Kyoko were in
Karei Naru Ichizoku together, playing quite different characters. Anyway, if you like mysteries, don't mind it being centered around housewives (ala Desperate Housewives), check this one out. I'd give it an 8.5/10. Nice job with the subs, peachy! ^_^
I'm now watching
Psychometrer Eiji. It kind of reminds me of Trick in the sense that they seem to be breaking each mystery into two episodes. Ootsuka Nene is the cop who solicits the help of Matsuoka Masahiro, who sees the past by touching something with his left hand. So far, this show seems ok, but maybe after watching SCANDAL, it doesn't really catch my interest too much.
Also watching some
Aibou episodes. I am really tempted to create an Aibou website, but I think that would take too much of my time. Maybe if I enlist in some help, it wouldn't be too bad. We shall see...
