Movies & pondering
I was talking to a classmate's mother the other day and she told me that a lot of that girl's friends are not married. As I mentioned in some entries, out of all of my close friends, only one is married. Only she and another friend have children (the latter is a single mom). The rest of us are either in relationships or just living the single (lonely) life.
It seems that we just can't find who we want to be with or are picky or just don't want to deal with the responsibility of commitment. I guess I'm in the first group, but probably just all three when it comes down to it. I don't know if there's anyone who would be able to tolerate me and my craziness and I don't know if there's anyone who I could live with without being irritated. Maybe if that person had the same interests as me then it wouldn't be so bad. I don't know.
I could probably ramble on about this topic, but it would just be repetitive, boring, and pathetic, so I won't.
On other news, I got some drama discs in today. Yays! I haven't checked anything yet, so I plan to do that probably tomorrow since I have more time.
I did some Netflix watching recently. Suspiria is such a highly talked movie among suspense/horror enthusiasts, so I just had to check it out. Especially watching this amusing scene on Youtube.
Anyway, it was just a cracked-out film with bad acting and it wasn't really scary. Of course, I always seem to watch horror related movies during the day, so I don't really get the full effect. Even though the plot was lame, the acting shitty, and it was just confusing, I didn't think it was all bad and I'd probably watch it again to see if I get it.
Next up: Jacob's Ladder.
Also, on Jdramas, I'm still watching Tengoku e no Kaidan. I just haven't found the time to watch that drama because I've been busy and trying to study. Or attempting, anyway. :/
I think there was more that I had to say, but I'll save it for later since I don't remember right now. :/
