don't, don't you worry, about the atmosphere
the party was so great!
i was so happy to finally meet Lauren, she's been one of my best friends at school for about a year now. i love her and her family so much! she has the cutest pets, so adorable.
anyway, i would post a long entry with all the photos, but i'm way too sick to sit up at the computer that long. i will sum it up for you all, though. :)
Saturday morning mom got off work early (at around 12) and took me to Nordstrom's to get my make up done. sadly, i didn't get any photos of it, but it looked so great! and i got what i wanted; smokey eye, pink cheek, deep red lip. it was so perfect for the costume and for the party. from there we headed over to Lauren's house. i got there about 4 so i could help decorate and get the house ready and such, then at 4:45 Lauren and i started getting our costumes on, because everyone was supposed to come over at around 5. most people had read the invitation wrong and came over an hour or so later, but that was fine because it gave me and Lauren more time to really hang out! we all basically just spent the night eating, relaxing in Lauren's room, dancing in the backyard, sitting by the fire, etc. it was so fun. it felt much more like Halloween, than Halloween did! so that was good. and Lauren's friends were awesome, we all got along.
all the guests left at around 11; Lauren and i set up my bed in the living room, and Lauren set up hers on the couch next to me. we were too excited to sleep though, so we watched a couple shows, parts of some movies, then turned it off and just talked the whole night. we ended up going to bed at around 6 in the morning, and only got 2 hours of sleep! hah! but it was worth it, i really think staying up and talking/getting to know her was the best part of the night.
that's about it. the next morning her mom brought us donuts for breakfast, we hung out in bed, then mom came to get me at around 9:30. we headed home and i got in bed to relax.
i caught a cold while i was there, and i'm very sick now, but i don't care! i had a good time.
it's veterans day today. no school! woohoo!
