tonight i am seeing Brand New. Manchester Orchestra is opening.
i wish i were more excited... it's just that, what i've heard off the new album (that i don't have, so i won't know the words, and also which just came out not too long ago which means they will mostly play songs off of it, i'm assuming) isn't the same sound i fell in love with years ago. they sound like a completely new band. it's so different. but, i've loved them for this long, and there are rumors of this being the last album. and possibly the last tour.
i'd die if i didn't see them live, even when i knew it might've been my last chance to.
Megan is coming with me. she is sleeping over, and instead of me staying home and skipping the show she is going to come with me! she doesn't like the music, but she is super stoked. it will be fun. in my experience bringing friends to shows who don't like the music has been disaster, but i'm hoping this night ends up different! haha. :) we will have a good time.
her first concert, so exciting.
i was supposed to go to Apple Country today, but since the show is tonight and Megan is sleeping over, mom said no. it's too much energy. especially since i've been feeling much sicker than usual the past few weeks. *sigh* maybe next year we can go. who knows!
