a small store called LF.

me and my family were in La Jolla for a few days; and LF, this store we'd never heard of, was having this major sale where everything was 60% off. so we went in to look around, i saw these beauties, and neeeeeeded them.

Theyre nice. Because I have my ol' Doc Martins, but I want something less chunky and the Docs have seen better days because my best friend got them from a thrift store, wore them for a year and now ive had them. The point is, I love those shoes.

everytime i try Doc Martins on (and believe me, i've tried on quite a few pairs) i feel like they look heavy and bulky on me. which is why i then was on the hunt for the perfect pair of granny boots, Docs weren't working for me.

are yours comfortable?

Well considering theyre about 10 years old they're worn down nicely. And theyre the green color they dont make anymore. They are really heavy and bulky, but they work with my dirty punky arty style I guess. I think granny boots are much more suitable for your style.

ohhhhhh my, i've always loved those. do you have a picture of them?
and yes, you're right. those suit you way more than they'd suit me, my friends always tell me i'm a 'mellow, artsy peasant' when it comes to my style. hah.
