A very late happy holiday to everyone! ''orz
I got my gifts ahead of time this year (as usual), and some were scattered after the day, but hey, whatever. Some of these weren't really Christmas gifts, but I'll count them because they were bought with someone else's money around the holiday time. This year's gifts included...
- Tales of the Abyss (!!!!)
- Suikoden V (!!!! Libby, I'd be short a couple video games without you. THANK YOU SO MUCH!)
- Dark grey tube dress with bubble bottom from Banana Republic
- White necklace and matching earrings from Denmark
- Dark grey knee high CASHMERE SOCKS from J.Crew (I wear these nonstop. Gotta remember to wash 'em...)
- Red bowling bag style tote from Converse (I love the Converse store here at the COEX!)
- My dad's old Mont Blanc pen? I hope?
- iPod
- Wii and PS3. I WISH. ;_______;
So I went to COEX yesterday and bought me some long-awaited LOVELESS Vol. 7 Special Edition with the alternate cover (Ritsuka with the pink flowers in his hair and heart tattoo versus the normal edition's white roses and butterfly tattoo, which I thought was prettier...). Also bought Vol. 4 and 5 of Peacemaker, and then the first volume of xxxHOLiC. I couldn't find Mushishi volumes at the bookstore. Maybe because Korea only sells the more popular series?
Hee, I love COEX. Spent less than $30 for two CDs: ELLEGARDEN's "Eleven Fire Crackers" and ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION's "ファンクラブ," both of which are excellent and chock full o' both bands' moodier, more melodic work. Melike.
THIS JUST IN:
Daniel Craig Hotness Liek NO OTHA MOTHA. ASFLISDLHKJLADKG.
Dear Daniel Craig,
I am going to have your babies.
Sincerely,
Your future wife.
Emi, Auntie, and Ojisan come tonight from Tokyo! I can't wait to see Emi! Speaking of Japan, I really want to see Daisuke again! It's been like 10 years, and we've been talking again. He's a silly kid, and his graffiti art is amazing. And I love his mixed Japanese-English speaking haha (he calls it Japlish and starts every sentence with "teka"). I should call him and tell him Merry Christmas. He asked me to visit him, but I don't have any money. Maybe this coming summer when I go to Hiroshima with Lib I'll take a trip up to see him in Jyugaoka. Damn rich folk.
Meanwhile, the 'rents and
fujieda continue their raging 24 Season 5 DVD marathon (DVDs I bought for Emily). It's like, Nonstop Jack Bauer Power Hour. :D
