I’m so tired but I was so excited and anxious that I couldn’t go to bed at normal time.
SO the big news is I think I know what I want to do... for now....
My job search has been very frustrating… I have gone to job fairs, interview workshops, "making connections" events, etc etc
But finally I think I know what I want really focus my energy on.... CONSULTING!!!
the bad thing is that consulting firms recruit really early and interviews start in a week and they start off with phone interviews to prescreen... if you pass that you have to go to one of their main offices during the first weeks of November... thankfully there is are a few firms in Houston so I can go and interview there and you go through 4 interviews with different people all in ONE day!
If you get it you find out in January and you have to accept within 2 weeks. Pretty awesome in the sense you know you have job months before you actually graduate but u have to start training before you start.
Anyways I was just excited I really found something I really want to get into I’m just feeling a lot of pressure because it is all happening all of a sudden and I just have to really research lots of companies and get ready for all the interviews.
On a fun note last weekend I was hanging out with Seb and Lorne and we decided to play drinking Mario kart and things def got a little out of control ended up really drunk… we all did hahah it was def interesting hahaha first time Lorne was under the influence of alcohol he usually eats so much that alcohol doesn’t affect him hahah soo this was a diff side to him hehe I’m evil MUAHIHI
