Tempe condos to rise where Club Rio ruled
I'm happy!!
Not that condos over Tempe Town Lake are nice. It's just that Club Rio in Tempe, AZ is one of those club where the "cool kids" hung out and people like me were not permitted. I'm glad it's closed down.
I was 22 or 23 and I showed my ID to the bouncer. He hardly looked at it and said that it was a fake ID. He was literally making stuff up as far as the difference between me and the picture. He then asked me what my address was. I said that correctly. So then he asked me when the license was issued. How the hell should I know. It was bull shit!!!!!
I have never even tried to go in there and I am glad it is closing down.
