Even though I just did an entry, I thought it'd be funny to look at all my Cinco de Mayo entries since I started on Deadjournal. So, here we go...

YES!!!!!!!!! Today was the last Sunday, 5-hour play practice!! That means there's gonna be one every day after school this week, but THEY'RE ALMOST DONE!! Yay! It actually went kinda quick today...we got brownies, and I'm almost done memorizing my speech for English. Emily did my hair, and even though I didn't actually look at it until I got home, people said it looked good so I didn't get too paranoid about it. lol. It does look nifty though. :D Aside from that, Sunday was just...Sunday. With school looming in the not-so-distant future, and the feeling that I didn't do something. :P I hafta study for a geometry quiz, and tomorrow's a dress down day. Huzzah. I'm gonna have dinner soon...adios.

I decided to start dowloading some stuff from Cabaret. This song's funny.

"Money makes the vorld go 'round."

Gotta love the German-ness.

Got my working papers after school. It was quite the party. I have no clue when I start. This weekend is Broadway. I'm sure everyone knows by now that I'm very giddy about it.

LATER...I was listening to that "Money" song and I kept thinking how the guys voice made me think of Nightcrawler from X-Men, what with the German-ness. And then I found out that the song is sung (at least this version) by Alan Cumming, who played Nightie in X2. Oh, irony.

It was been quite the eventful week. All of last week was spent practicing for the pit band for 'Anything Goes', and random events for Fine Arts Week. For which I dressed up as Razumikhin. And met a fun looking drummer who was incredibly good at it. Physics Day last Friday was quite fun, once we got the required labs out of the way. The weather was most excellent. Right after that I had the play, which was...interesting. It's rather sad that this particular production was significantly better than the past ones I've seen and/or been involved with, considering they pulled it together in a month, while previously things have been prepared for roughly four or five. At least I got to experience the horror from a comfortable distance this time. More dandy-looking drummers abounded. It was actually a rather enjoyable experience, for what it's worth.

So, while I had that all weekend, I also had SATs on Saty, which forgot about until 12 that morning. It was probably quite bad, but I saw Stacy, so all was well. Nifty Fifties after the play with Amanda, Kirsten, and Lizzie. The next day was the last show, and then that night my front door caught fire. It was marvelous. I ran out there with my family with no shoes on, and stood around as tons of neighbors poured out onto the sidewalks and lawns. Five fire trucks came, someone had already put the small fire out by the time they got there. A light caught a bird's nest on fire, you see. Wasn't a big deal, really...the front door looks like shit, but the insurance company's painting the whole front of the house. And I finally came up with a college essay topic.

'Passage to India', WiL paper, and weekly words test were very annoying. But now that's over, and tomorrow is college day at Ghost, and I just registered for the SATIIs in Literature and Writing and set up that National Merit Scholarship thing. Will probably sign up for SATII in World History (maybe American) for in October once that's available. All is well.

Bought 'Peter Pan' DVD. Will make icons.

Hahaha, I just had a massive entry about prom and this past week, and it just got erased. Dammit.

retrospect, bored
