Spent the Wednesday and Thursday nights at Kristin's house with the BRC to work on Quintessence for school. First night turned into more of, "Let's eat pizza and talk and watch 'Lost', but only work for an hour!". Which was okay, because BOONE DIED. :( Hah, not that it was reall surprising. Let's face it, he was screwed over at the end of the previous episode. This one justlet us watch him slowly wheeze himself to death. I'm just glad that Jack didn't bother chopping off his leg.
My mom just said, "I always wanted to do something stealthful in a black turtleneck. You know...some kind of...escapade." Hm.
Anyway, Boone's leg. Yeah, Jack worked hard, but as Sun (a.k.a. I finally have a favorite female character) delicately put it, "He's bleeding on the inside!". So...ah. Poor Boone. Locke better watch out, Jack' got it in for him. And at last, Claire is no longer Super-Pregnant. Last night was a lot more productive. We actually finished the magazine, and spent the rest of the time fiddling with Amanda's tablet. Many amusing drawings abounded, and resulted in my new buddy icon. Oh, Kristin.
After Mike and Amanda left, Kristin, Kirsten and I basically sat on the couch and scared ourselves for an hour or so. Kirsten drove me home, got home a bit after midnight. Felt bad cause it was late and raining. Had a grand old time, though.
Didn't get to the New York funeral today after all. We left at 6, but then it was raining and five minutes in my dad decided to come back home. Soi went back to bed and wound up accidentally sleeping til 2. *sigh* Spent the rest of the day cleaning, and made brownies.
