SWELLING INTSTRUMENTAL

By the looks of the way today's B&N interview went, I believe I may now have a second part-time job at the Neshaminy B&N cafe.  They gotta check up on my references and call me back in a few days, but...HOORAH.  McCaffrey's was good today.  Got to watch a ridiculous set of instructional videos for the last hour of my shift, and they totally needed to be MST-ed.

The other day one of the Blockbusters near my house closed, so they were liquidated everything, and I just happened to come in on the last day.  All the movies that remained were $1.99.  So I bought eight movies for like...$12.  Looking back, I don't why I bought half of these, except for the fact that I have this inability to resist cheap DVDs.  Here's what I bought:
  • The Pebble and the Penguin (actually much less retarded than I remember, which I guess then must have been porfoundly so)
  • Dot the I (~~"the new Memento"~~...yeah, okay)
  • Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (this was actually a good movie)
  • Heart and Souls (I remember watching this in like...sixth grade at Jackie's mountain house and liking it for it's sheer ridiculousness)
  • Towelhead (looked interesting)
  • Suspect Zero (intrigued)
  • The Edukators (intrigued)
  • My Blueberry Nights (dunno, could be hit or miss, is apparently good)
Also, I am now the owner of one of the most obnoxious pairs of headphones to grace this Earth...DAZZLING.  The pair I have are red on one side and blue on the other side.  It's like I'm listening to music with Captain America as my headphones.  They were on sale at Urban Outfitters for $15.  I really want to get a pair like this, but I think I will need to wait til the price goes down.

I just really want autumn to get here.

movies, gaudy electronic equipment, jobs, purchases, shopping
