Another day in June
Saw The Dark Knight for the fifth time today. I think I should look into counseling. I went with Manda to the IMAX theater at the Franklin, and it was grand. I thought my head might explode at some points during it, mostly frenzied action scenes. I'd say it was worth it. Only gripes: the theater was freezing, some kid behind us kept violently kicking our seats, and this woman above me had to make SOME KIND OF NOISE at pretty much every other line ("Mmm...OOOHHH...*weird squeal noise*...that's right!...boom!"). But anyway. Good times! Except for the creepy guy who wanted to "race" on our walk to 30th St. Station. :(
I think I'm going to apply to White Orchid for a job when I get back to school. It's the Thai restaurant in the Promenade. Yeeaaahhh.
Finished The Handmaid's Tale during my train rides to and from Philly today. I really loved it and am looking forward to responding to Margaret's presentation for Senior Sem. At least, as much as one can look forward to a project in a Yermo class. Sigh.
