The bus is only 10 miles away!

When I went to Universal Studios Florida circa 1998, I was walking to the exit of the park. The park had officially closed for the day and it was raining pretty hard. On the way out, I caught a glimpse of what appeared to be the Magical Mystery Tour bus in the back lot of Hard Rock Cafe. I looked closer and saw that it was. I asked the guy guarding the gate if I could come in and look at it. He seemed pretty confused as to why I would want to, but let me in anyway. When I got up to the bus I could see why he was confused. IT WAS A HAT STAND. Yes, they had turned it into a merchandise booth. I honestly didn't think it was the MMT bus. Something else seemed off about it, but I can't remember now.

I just found a site devoted to the saga of the bus. Apparently it has since been converted back to its original form. And apparently Madonna donated a molar to fund the bus.
