Friends, today I am dressed like a cross between an Amish lady and a 1980's kindergarten teacher. It is the best that I can do - my jeans that fit and my two summerweather shirts are in the wash, too stinky to wear after a week of trying to make it look like I'm not wearing the same clothes everyday. I am in an extra bad mood, the kind that only comes from the unique combination of not being able to put on a fabulous outfit and still having to be seen in public, plus general irritation about the state of young people in the world. I may be more prone to the former than most, given that vanity is my number one sin. Also, while I'm listing my "problems," I've been too lazy to wash my hair or do my nails or wax my eyebrows, so I can't distract the eye with my careful personal grooming - it is a ponytail and that's about it around here. All the same and for the record, I don't mind at all that it is 80 degrees and practically October. It makes up for when it was 60 degrees and only August. But still...
In other news, who will it be in the final three?
Two black people?! Or three ladies?! Or will the forces of evil win out and they'll eliminate Korto just because. And by "because" I mean "insert race/gender analysis I don't have the energy to type up here, especially when I am supposed to leave the house in ten minutes and even a ponytail requires some time in front of a mirror."
