Alive and such...
For those of you that didn't know, I was in Kansas City, MO last Tuesday thru Sunday. Random? Kinda. I was there to help run my organization's annual conference. I barely made it out of there before all that crazy tornadic weather hit.
I'll spare you the boring details, but it entailed me working 14-18 hour days. I racked up a whopping 88 hours from Monday-Sunday. The only cool thing about working 88 hours is the 48 hours worth of time-and-a-half that I'll be receiving. (Yes, I'm salaried, but I had the option -- suckas!) Since I had to be at the airport at 4am on Sunday, I didn't get to sleep Saturday night. After being up and working for damn near 32 hours, I passed the hell out once I got home. Despite getting 18 hours of sleep, I'm still kinda tired.
Work this week has been laid back -- rolling in at 10 and leaving at 3 kicks ass.
Let's see, other than my lame ass work life, Brian and I have acquired an apartment. We'll be moving to Centreville in April -- if you like free beer and pizza, come help us move the 2nd weekend in April!
Oh, Happy Saint Patricks Day! Hopefully I won't get so drunk as to be too hungover for my first softball practice on Sunday...hehehe.
