An Update, Of Sorts
Hey all! I hope everyone is warm, safe and reasonably sound. I can truthfully say that at this moment, I've got some mixture of all three again. 8} Some of my computer woes are behind me... or, at least are in remission *snork*; my cold has settled into something like that obnoxious little twit back in grade school who used to always torment you, but somehow has grown on you; and my backlog of angst both real life and online have left me jaded enough to stop caring for the moment. *snark* I've been minimally productive of late, more in written word than artistically. To be honest, artwork for me is a very tempermental thing. I've noticed that I don't tend to want to draw when I'm feeling depressed, but then, I don't tend to want to talk on personal level when like that either. *snork* Role-playing has been easier, but that's rather immediate and takes me more out of myself than drawing or writing about what I'm feeling. *shrugs* I just get mopey and listless when I'm not happy with myself, I guess. At any rate, what that means for you guys is that I don't have any new stuff artwise yet (a lot of the old stuff I was working on has been corrupted somehow by whatever's still wrong with my puter), but I'm not TOTALLY without some Fandom stuffs. It's been a while since I made an update on that front, and now that the dust has settle on the Major Wankage that was going on there (no, I really don't feel like talking about it just yet... I know it's dumb, but I'm still getting over it... call me an old, blubbering softie if you will), I feel like posting what I WAS going to a few days back. You all shouldn't really be surprised; I've become quite good at being behind the times of late. *smirks, sighs* So, if you're interested in this kind of stuff, click on one of the links below and read. Role Playing Updates

Well, if you haven't heard the news yet, h_b is being taken down and reformed. This is a result of many things, not just teh Drama brewing behind the scenes. I'll be honest: I was not a happy Coco about what happened, but I'm better now and don't intend to dwell on it anymore. People were hurt enough, and I don't want to contribute to any more of it. Besides, I didn't have it the worse so I really don't have any right to keep bitching. I have some idea of what h_b 2.0 will look and feel like, but not enough to be informative. We'll all just have to wait and see. 8} After much thought, I've decided to continue playing Cedric there (clueless_virgin). And yes, he'll keep that lj name for now, mostly due to a weird billing snafu that renewed the journal subscription for another 6 months!! 'O_O' Doesn't make sense to delete the journal then, even if that wasn't my intention at the time. *snork* Heh, maybe LJ is trying to tell me something. ;) I will, however, be dropping Millicent Bulstrode (mr_bulstrode), and Luna Lovegood (lustful_lunasee) was dropped a while back. Yep, I'm still chucking away slowly on this rpg with Firenze (notaprettyhorse). Strangely, my illness and computer problems seemed to have had the biggest impact on my rping here. I'm not sure why, really. Circumstance? *shrugs* But whatever the reason, for now, I'm still the Horse, of course. ;) There may be new developments on the horizon, however. After some thought and discussions with a friend, I may start another character there. 8) I'm giving myself a week or two to think things over, espec. after above-mentioned drama, but it's looking very favourable that I WILL go ahead with things. It will also depend on my main rping partner. Yeah, I'm one of those rpers who focus a lot on relationships, but I enjoy equal parts plot and smut. Obviously, I'm not alone if I have people who want to rp with me. Entertaining myself and them are my primary concerns. Anyone else who doesn't like it can always click on by. ;) Until I'm certain I'm going through with it, this will be all I'll say on the subject for now. Suspense is my middle name... err, well, not really but it's easier for most ppl to pronounce! ;) Here's what Firenze's been up to for now.

The owner of l_r, nothingbutfic, decided to change the premise of the game and has pushed the starting date back to January 2006. So, I have nothing really to report for official role-playing, thou I've been messing around a lot in IM with the wonderful and wonderfully giving thermidor, who is playing Kevin Entwhistle there (kinetic_kevin). My character, E. Chambers (iam_not_agirl) will be pairing up with Kevin, and I must say that Kevin and Chambers are already an OTP (KevinEntwhistle/E.Chambers=KEEC!) of mine. *basks in the happy glow of an intact OTP* At the expense of seeming presumptuous, I think I speak for Thermie as well. 8D Now.... I've just got to finish my rewrite of the character app/bio. >_>' I've been a little underwhelmed about doing that part since my first bio was a vertiable tome on Chambers. I have a lot of things I need to change, and well, there was a period recently where I didn't want to do ANYTHING, except maybe sulk and hide under a rock from everyone. 8P But I will get that done, Thermie and Baddie! I will! ^_^"
Well, that's it for now really. I hope that at least some of you found something interesting here. On a final note, I'd just like to send out my love and appreciation to a number of ppl who have made my experiences worthwhile, and when they weren't, have been there to keep me cheered up.
