Ow. My brain.
I think my brain has melted. I spent 6 hours in the lab today, modifying a database and doing data entry. The sad thing is that there were 2 other people there, and we didn't even come close to finishing, much less analyzing any of the data, which was the actual plan for the day. Of course, it's not just entering in the numbers, it's also checking each of them to make sure that they actually make sense (since the data itself is the work of over a dozen RAs, with varying skill levels). I honestly thought my brain was going to start leaking out of my ears by the time I got home.
The problematic part of this is that while this was useful and needed to be done, it meant I didn't actually get any of my own work done that I'm terribly behind on and need to finish so I don't get yelled at (which is probably not the most evolved method of motivation, but whatever works). Sigh. I suppose there's always tomorrow, eh?
