last friday of work as a college student...
i love my nighttime coworkers! tonight they threw me a party and stacey came! it was really cute, balloons, tulips, pizza, nachos, buckeyes, brownies, cheese puffs, fruit salad (strawberries, grapes, and mandarin oranges -only the good stuff)!! i ate for an hour straight:) so yummy! they let me take all the leftovers home with me too, so i'll have a lot of eating to do before i leave next saturday.
i'm doing alright with my 'things to do' list. i've accomplished one of the tasks... good enough for me. tomorrow i should be able to cross two more off! i didn't get anything done at work today... unless you count me slipping stacey a homework file she needs to complete econometrics. good roommate. she might help me with a bemis paper. i'm so bad all of a sudden!!
sunday is irene's bridal shower, that's pretty exciting. speaking of getting married, i just found out my favorite coworker and good friend is getting a divorce. i was shocked. she called me at work tonight and told me what was going on. why are people so far away when you want to give them a hug? she stayed on the phone while i opened a gift she had left me. it was a gorgeous pearl earring, bracelet, and necklace set. real freshwater pearls. she is a jeweler on the side, so she made them herself. i had just mentioned to stacey that i needed a set because every girl needs a set of pearls:) i love her and i hope i can be there for her if she needs a friend.
we watched the chronicles of narnia today instead of sleeping in. it was well worth it. it is probably the best movie i've seen in a long long time, it may be a new favorite. it was so beautiful, not to mention funny and most importantly moving. i highly recommend it:)
