My Little Ponies & Barbies
I was going through the attic today and I found my collection of Barbies and My Little Ponies. I keep saying "I'll give them to my daughter one day" but the truth is.. I think I am keeping them for me and nobody else and no one will play with them but me..ever.
Is that selfish or what?
I have 16 My Little Ponies including the following:
1998 Sunny Garden Friends - Basket Surprise with Sweet Berry & Ivy
2003 - Rainbow Dash - I told my Karissa the story of how I got most of my collection of My Little Ponies on Easter so she fixed me up an Easter Basket with a My Little Pony in it.
Year 4 (1985 - 1986) - My Little Pony "So Soft Ponies" - These are the ponies with the 'fuzzy' bodies. Of the So Soft ponies I own "Truly" the earth pony who is white with curly dark pink hair. And I also own "Scrumptious" who is white with neon-green hair. I think whoever named those two ponies had to have been watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.. "Truly Scrumptious.. you're truly truly scrumptious!"
Year 4 - Baby Ponies with Beddy Bye eyes - the eyes that winked open and shut. I had Baby Heart Throb and Baby Lofty the two pegasus ponies. Baby Hearth Throb is called "lavender" but I think she looks pink. Baby Lofty was yello with a hot air balloon on her butt.
Year 2 - (1983-1984) My sister and I both got My little ponies and I am not ashamed to say I have taken hers and claimed them as mine. She doesn't want them anymore. Regina got "Bowtie" a pretty blue pony with pink ribbons and pink hair. I got Applejack who we all know made friends with the "Seaponies" in the My Little Pony Movie. Applejack is orange with yellow hair and apples on her butt. Both stand in the same position with their heads turned like they're looking behind them.
Year 2 - Rainbow PONIES!!! These ponies had the rainbow colored hair. My sister got Starshine the white pegasus with a star on her butt and I got my favorite, Skydancer a yellow pegasus pony with blue glitter birds on her butt. These were our FIRST PEGASUS ponies!

Year 5 (1986 - 1987) - Twice as Fancy Ponies! These ponies had twice as many 'symbols' on their bodies. I have Pegaus "Dancing Butterflies" who is yellow with butterflies all over her body. And I also got my first UNICORN that year with Milky Way a purple unicorn with white hair and stars imprinted in silver glitter all over her body!
Milky Way is sooo cute!
Year 5 - I also got the Newborn Twins ponies... Pink Doodles and Blue Noodles! They are both cute and came with matching snail rockers. Both are printed with ABC on their butts.

Year 5 - I also got the Satin Slipper Sweet Shoppe which was a place where ponies could meet for a snack. With the Satin Slipper Sweet Shoppe came the My Little Pony known only as "Scoops" a Twice as Fancy pony ice cream sundaes all over her white body. She has purple hair.
The last one I have, is a 1984 Hasbro SOFTIES pony which stands about 12 inches high, (very tall for a pony) and it is Cherries Jubilee!! I just found out that very few of them were made so she is hard to find!!! I'm glad I have her!!
