Okay so even though I owe rent money and other such things to my mother, yesterday we went shopping and I couldn't NOT buy something.
We went to T.J. Maxx, Kohl's, Home Goods, Ross Dress for Less, Michaels Arts & Crafts, Barnes and Noble, and Walmart.
I got a very beautiful wooden picture frame, really thick and nice, for $6 at Home Goods. I also bought another pillow there for $10. I am a pillow queen and I am so in love with Sealy Posturpedic pillows. They are the best ones really. Sealy is the only brand I buy from now on.
I didn't find anything I wanted at TJ Maxx..except I found a lamp that I didn't like the base but the lamp shade is EXACTLY what I want when I buy my lamps. It was totally cool.
At Ross Dress for Less - I love that store btw.. I found a pair of Levi jeans on sale for $13. You CANNOT FIND LEVI's for that price ANYWHERE. I was tickled to death with them. Plus my mom bought me a fleece jacket for winter (she got tired of me 'borrowing' hers) and also she bought me this brown top that looks totally cute. I got a little white tank top camisole that would go with EVERYTHING.
I went to Barnes and Noble to find my Vampire Game Novels #11 and #12 but they didn't have them! I was so disappointed. I'll have to go to Walden's down in Fayetteville to get them. I love that graphic novel.
We went to Johnny Carino's for lunch. If you have a Carino's (Countryside Italian dining) in your area... GO. Don't walk.. DRIVE as fast as you can and eat there. Oh my god it was sooo good.
I had Baked Penne Pasta which is pasta with meat and cheese sauces combined to create a creamy tomato meat sauce. My mom had Shrimp scampi and Helen had a Chicken Florentine that was DIVINE. I had a nice little house salad, which was all crispy vegetables and good. We also ordered Stuffed Mushroom caps as an appetizer and it was stuffed with garlic, spinach and something else I can't remember what and it came in a Lemon-basil cream sauce. I thought I was going to DIE! It was heaven. That lemon basil cream sauce was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO yummy. I dipped my bread in it because I loved it so much. They need to sell that in a grocery store somewhere.
