Mad World Vs Freeloader?

Mad World asked for a Wii system update... I haven't updated my console since No More Heroes arrived in the US as I got the... y'know... *good uncensored version*. Therefore I use the Freeloader disc for that.

Does anyone know if the Mad World update kills the Freeloader? ._. I've checked several sites, one said it doesn't, others just rant on about chipping which I'm not going to do.

Goddamn Nintendo.
