A dose of F1

Nevermind my previous post. Think I just wanted to vent some things on my mind. It is still annoying as I told Lynee I didn't like dragging people into my own issues, yet I went and posted anyway! Blarg.
One door closes, another one opens (hopefully anyway!) we still plan to make the game, so my portfolio isn't too hindered. I don't know how much attention I'm going to be giving Dare this year though... I'll certainly go to Protoplay. Good luck to those that have gotten to the interviews.

Formula 1

I was meant to say how the first Formula 1 race was on this weekend in Australia. It is back on the BBC! Thank god. The most amusing thing is.. when I first heard they were going to get it back, I thought "Awesome, they will go up to the two ITV commentators Martin Bundle and James Allan. Agree to keep Martin but... just... ignore James Allan's... existence."
And they did.
Hahaha.

Apart from ditching most of the annoying ITV presenter, the cars have slick tyres now! This is awesome because a: the grooved tyres before were pointless and only added to the grey areas in the rules, and b: they look retro, and c: they sound retro!
They have also given the cars a new turbo system! I am very impressed by this. It is called KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) were the energy built up in the brakes is converted into electrical energy and stored in a battery. Once a lap, the driver can use this energy for small or large boosts of speed. Basically allows for a load more overtaking!

The race itself was pretty impressive too, great to see it again without friggin adverts every ten minutes. If you don't mind me spoilering, the Brit Jenson Button won his first race too! After god knows how many years and being pushed aside by Lewis Hamilton by the media, he just ran away with it. In fact the grid was completely weird... Ferrari's and McLarens at the back? Am I watching the same show??
There may still be some stupid rules at work... I missed the start of the program due to sleeping in (sigh) but hopefully some of the more stupid ones have been canned.

My flat inspection was surprisingly uninteresting. I tidied the damn place but all he needed to see was the fridge, oven, washing machine and the hoover... Oh well!
Great weather today. I've actually started to put my soul on the hanger in place of my lighter jacket! D:

Edit: Since I've gone through my flat, I now have 80% less Royo imagery on the walls :P

formula 1, dare
