Poor pup!
Last night I got home an took Dori to the dog park as usual. Only when we got there all she wanted to do was try to pee... there was little running which is TOTALLY unlike her. So then when we got home and she piddled a bit on my bedroom floor I went to clean it up and found the tiniest bit of blood in it. This made me think "Uh oh! Kidney stones!" as my mothers dog was just dianosed with them. I became even more concerned when I took her outside later and she passed what looked like a small blood clot. Anyway... I brought her to the vet and for now she just has a nasty bladder infection and has been precribed some antibiotics but, the doc wants to check out her urine again in a couple weeks and if she is still having symptoms she might have to be knocked out to have her bladder inflated so they can x-ray her for stones. Apparently the kind dalmations get are invisble to x-rays unless their bladders are inflated. $$$$ YEA!
Hoping for the best that this will be cured by the time I have to take her in again.
