Change in routine
I really don't know what has gotten into me but, whatever it is... I like it. Last night rather than doing what I usually do... eat food and watch the boob tube, I made dinner, cleaned the cat box, finished some cleaning of the kitchen, pumped up the tires of my bike and rode down the Greenway and around Lake Calhoun. Part way around the lake I stopped an took some pics of the MPLS skyline. It has been so long since I have bothered to use my camera on any setting other than automatic that I had to experiment a bit with the F-stop and shutter speeds. I didn't get anything that turned out fantastic because I didn't have my tri-pod with me but, next time. I got home around 9pm and had about 10 minutes before it started to downpour with lightning and thunder. Since I was sweaty from the ride anyway. I decided to take a shower and rather than turn on the bathroom light I just let the lightning light up the room. It was great! I slept really good and didn't even need to shower in the morning so I got to sleep in. Amazing what I little change can do for you.
