So I saw Die Walkurie last night, AMAZing!! LIke I cant type fast enough. So this production was like ultra modern and ultra antico, it was such a combobulation of the past and presetn, and really embodieed what Wagner was trying to do, Gesumptamusik. Zubin Mehta was conducting Jennifer Wilson ( the same Brunnilde who is singing at BEyrueth!!) and Peter Sciefft ( also, singing at Beyrueth) and other people that were phenominal! Like I will never forget how amazing it was! Ride of the Valkuires... WOW, like BRunnhilde rides this machine that moves her up and down as she sings this battle cry that includes like 2 high B's and then 2 high C's in a row!! OMG! and the Tenor was soooooooo good. I am going to see it again, it only cost 15 euro because im under 26, tommorrow I am going to Das Rhiengold. God Im excited.
