[OOC] Random Facts

* You know those stories of little kids accidentally being left at amusement parks? That actually happened to Katou. Only it wasn't an accident and it was only because Sae threw a fit when she realized that caused his dad went back and got him.
* For all he bitches about them being an annoyance, Katou really likes his wings. The make him unique, and give him a connection to Setsuna.
* He does actually appreciate the irony in gaining shapeshifting powers after spending his whole life wishing he was someone else.
* Technically, his body doesn't need to have all his old scars from abuse and trackmarks from needles and the like. He could change it so they disappear. But his body's entirely shaped on his perceptions of himself, and he's not quite sure who he'd be without them. So they stay.
* He was skipping class one day in the later part of middle school to smoke a cigarette when someone asked to borrow his lighter. Turned out to be that quiet, studious kid who always got A's and yet never got beat up. Katou made some snarky comment about him being a goody-two shoes and ended up having to go to the nurse's office. The next day he started following the guy around. And that's how he met Kira.
* It's not like he ever particularly meant to hurt his girlfriends. They were just terrifying because he could get attached to them and half the time they reminded him way too much of his sister. So they inevitably just had to go.
* Katou probably would've been dead even sooner if it weren't for Kira stepping in for him and either beating some guys up or dragging his OD'd ass home. This bothers him immensely, because, hey, whose fault is it he finally kicked it?
*Kira and Katou smoke the same brand of cigarettes. Not by chance, either. Kira kept stealing Katou's when he ran out, and then complaining about how shitty they were. So one day, without saying anything, Katou switched brands.
* He hates his first name for several reasons. 1) It's a girl's name, 2) it's a reminder that his dad is a fucker, 3) it's a reminder that no one wanted him, 4) it's too close to Sae's name. This is why only a few people can ever use it-- and it means something totally different when they do.
* Though he'll probably never admit it, Uriel really is a substitute father for him. Uriel cares about him in a weird stoic angel sort of way, and Katou knows this. And Uriel's opinion actually really matters to him. It's the same with Doll. For all he bitches about/with her, he sort of thinks of her as a second chance to have a sister.
* Kira has managed to convince Katou to do all sorts of embarrassing things while high. Not the least of which involving crossdressing, fishnets, and stilettos.
* On a camp-related note, his claims that he plays poker with Marcy on alternate Thursdays has never been proved. However, it's never been disproved either. Scary.
