Ice Ice Baby
The weather's being a COMPLETE beyotch right now. Overnight ice storm, followed by freezing rain, and this morning probably 4-5 inches of snow... with more expected
That's our incoming electricity line, covered in ice. To say we are scared of it parting from the wall with all the weight is an understatement!
To balance the ugliness, here's some pretty shots of what we call "my mum's tree" (she bought it for us just before she passed away)
Cincinnati's currently under a Level 3 emergency and several main roads around the region have been closed, cited as being too dangerous to drive on. Tree limbs are coming down all over the area (with the weight of ice and, now, all the snow). Next door's tree is visibly buckling, as are several others I can see from our back windows. I have shovelled our front path and pavement so many times now it's getting irritating. Temperatures are supposed to drop as today progresses meaning none of this is going to melt away any time soon.
Bastard fathermucking winter.
