FOOTBALL

Okay, so I'm pushing back football a few weekends, because there's a lot going on for people RL and Uh, I kinda forgot about it on and off, so I'm not really ready/up for it. |D So yeah, the next football game held on Saturday, May 5th sometime in the afternoon.

And because I wanna try something new, the meet-up/game will all be in one post, to make things easier/more convenient/etc. So yeah. 8D

...there are no rules! 8D Ignore Dee when he says that "this" and "that" can't happen, because OOCly, I enable nearly anything that makes for more fun and crack. The only rules we do really go by are the actual rules of football, so. Anything else is free reign!

All other organizing I try to do with players in #cfudfootball or however else I can contact people, just so it's not completely utterly crazy, and we don't clutter up the main channel with our football babble.

I separate the teams myself, though I do go off the last game's teams and whatnot, just because it's easier for me. For example, with the actual football players, I try to keep them all on the same teams, so that Seibu players are with their teammates, etc., and then go from there. That doesn't mean I'm not up for switching things around! If you want to be on a certain team, I'd be more than happy to shuffle things around to put you there. Do note though I try to keep things even, especially with those people who have powers and the like.

For reference: Last Meet-up post. Last game post. Here's how the posts usually run. Just keep in mind that these will be all in one post this coming game and probably ones after depending on how it runs. :Db

PAINTBALL

O-Okay so I kinda failed at doing this last time, but this time I'm hoping to actually get it done. So! Paintball I'll try to hold the weekend after Football, which would be Saturday, May 12. Again, I'll post in the afternoon-time. However, this is tentative due to the fact that the following day is Mother's Day and I don't know who'll be going home for that and whatnot. So drop a note if this is a bad day?

There's a couple of different ways to hold a Paintball match, but the best way is probably the Capture the Flag game, since...I dunno, it just seems easier.

From what I remember, this game has two or more teams who try to...capture a flag and "capture" other players in the process if they're hit. I'll go into more detail with this once I get around to actually looking at the rules, but. Depending on how many people want to play, there'll be more than two teams.

The game itself will take place in certain parts of camp (where the "bases" are) and in the woods. I haven't thought up where the flags will be kept, so suggestions are welcome!

As for rules, the only ones that I can see is that if you're hit, you're captured and have to go where the other captured players are, or else...well, I'm thinking a penalty ala camp? Equipment for the game will be made available before it starts, with paintball guns and whatnot. Also I know people have asked about "custom" ones that look like their own weapons, so feel free to find one that looks like yours.

Organization during the game will...well. I'll probably set up #cfudfootball again for OOC organizing.

I think that's it, so please comment if you're interested! Especially for paintball, because a lot of people have been asking about it and I kinda haven't set it up before and need an idea of how many people want to play so I can uh, not screw up.

And if you already know the rules and want to skip all the tl;dr:

Football: Saturday, May 5

Paintball: Saturday, May 12, tentatively.
