I've got to admit that I've been curious what/if Dee has any thoughts on Izumi turning out to be an alchemist and her whole "I'm just a housewife" thing.

Dee...actually does have thoughts on it! Especially after seeing what Ed did. At first he just thought Izumi was just one of the cooks and yadda yadda, she seems nice and kick ass, but then he was told about the whole alchemy thing and it kinda made him think. And after the housewife comment, he's right along the lines of "Well, if that's what she wants me to think she is, then so be it", because Dee really isn't one to judge on that kind of stuff.

So while he is curious about it, he's not going to be real noisy about it. 8D

Well...in the long run, Dee doesn't really acknowledge that he's "adopted" anyone. It's more like "these kids are real important to me an' if anyone messes with them, you'll hafta deal with the end of my gun" type. The only one he actually acknowledges as adopted is Kairi, but only because she calls him Dad. XD

But to be honest, he kinda likes it. Dee's not good with kids; that was always Ryo's department, as can be seen with his interactions with Bikky and Carol as opposed to Dee's interactions with them. So being in a place where, for the most part, he gets along with a lot of the kids, and has grown close to them, kinda makes him wonder if he can do the same thing Ryo does and be a not!Dad. Especially since it's like every other a day a new kid's being added to the list. 8D

Haha. Dee actually doesn't really mind so much as he kinda grumps about it. This goes along with his whole adopting thing so, lol, I'll briefly explain it here because I have an essay in the works anyway I did it in algebra I fail

But yes, Dee doesn't mind. It actually makes him feel kinda important that people are trusting him to look after someone, and it also strokes his ego very nicely. That, and he likes the people he's guarding, so.
