So me and my mom dropped my older brother, Joey, off at the Charlotte Bus Station the other day. His ex-girlfriend, Emily Huff, bought my brother a bus ticket to go see her in Michigan! He got on the bus at 5:30 and he was going to arrive the next day at 3:30. It's about a 20 hour trip. He didn't have a phone because his broke the day before. He had no way to get ahold of her so my mom was worried about him getting on a bus. So my mom told my brother to call her the minute he got there. He called and said that Emily's friend picked him up and that everything was okay. But, the real situation- Emily never came, nor her friend. My brother sat at a bus station for 4 hours in the freezing weather in Detroit, Michigan waiting for her to pick him up. She made him come all the way out there to see her. She's the one who bought the ticket. It was all her idea to do this. I can't imagine what my brother was going through. I feel so bad for him. Just imagine waiting 4 hours outside with just a jacket on.. He ended up finding Emily's Grandma's phone number in the phone book and he called her. He walked about 6 blocks down the road to her house, called my mom. He told my mom that she never came and that Emily's Grandma got ahold of her the next day and said that Emily told my brother to never come. Which isn't true because she called my brother's phone and left a message around 5 o'clock that day, saying that she'll see him soon. So, tomorrow me and my mom are going to pick my brother up from the bus station, again. I feel so bad for him. Have a nice trip home, Joey. Glad you're alright.
