That was a sweet little read and I like the idea that Soul doesn't want her to dance with anyone but himself - and maybe her Dad, haha! And I do think I adore your first sentence. :D
I was just a tiny bit confused with the last sentence though and wondered for a second if it was part of the ficlet or you, yourself saying it. I think it was the sudden switch to first person. A nice little read though, thanks for sharing.

I was wondering myself how to end it off (it's my one great failure I admit, writing short pieces and ending them off nicely) but thanks so much for reading and letting me know!

And yeah, Maka's dad is the safest person for her to dance with while Soul watches. XDDD Even if he's a tad too joyful about a date.
