my first, serious, presidential rant
Alright ya'll, it's no big secret that i'm president of the junior class, nor do i try and flaunt the fact. So as president i think that every once in a while i'm allowed to do my thang.
1. WE NEED TO WIN THE PENNY WARS!! seriously. i don't want the "our class doesn't have spirit" excuse anymore. you, as an individual, can make a difference. in doesn't take the whole class to put one penny in a jug. furthermore, this is a really cool fundraiser. how many chances in your life are you going to get to bomb a class, without being taken to jail? This isn't a difficult task, so i beseech you to participate, even minimally. And just so ya'll don't think i'm a hypocrite, i've already donated five dollars. that's 500 points.
2. WTF IS WITH OUR SPIRIT/UNITY?! How hard is it to be peppy at a pep rally? Or to clap for a fellow classmate? this is starting to get out of hand. You can not imagine how shocked, embarrassed, and angry I was when half the junior class decided to leave in the middle of our last pep rally. not to mention those who did stay, didn't even cheer! Again, i don't want anybody to play the blame game. There will always be some people who will never want to participate, or make an effort, but that shouldn't stop the rest of us. We are the centennial class! Our years at saint agnes are quickly coming to an end, and i hope ya'll learn to make the best of them.
