After months of begging, he'd let Sokka be the new Robin, and then when Sokka was killed he wouldn't even hold a memorial for him, but when Sokka came back he'd claim that he knew he wasn't dead all along >:(

But then Sokka would become Batgirl! So I guess worse things have happened.
