I want to travel to the British Isles. I know I've said this before, but nothing could be more in line with my heritage-- real, imagined, and spiritual/artistic. Ahhh. Plus, the obvious, that my name is London, and I really ought to see the city before I die, don't you think? I know Britain can be like any other place-- dirty, urban, disappointing-- but I don't care. I want to see it all. I want to visit the graves of poets and stand in cathedrals and listen to choirs and see those streets I always hear described and visit the countryside to see what James Herriot was really talking about.
Let's go!
Happy birthday to me, by the way.
(Why thank you, London!)
