In the News!
I woke up this morning and was watching the 6:00 a.m. news like I do every morning and the headline news were "Maguel Padilla kills trio in cold blood in the parking lot of the UVA in Altoona" and "Hurricane Katrina is hitting New Orleans coastline this morning" (Category 5 Hurricane). Both, interesting topics. So, I get into my car and head to Altoona Hospital and the radio dicussed the two topics briefly stating that a officer was Killed in the shooting early Sunday morning was a Prison Guard at the State Prison in Huntington and this may be a possible death sentence for Padilla. While that's expected when you kill three men intentional. But I never imagined Magual being a murder or even a illegal alien (immigrant) from Mexico when in high school. I guess you never know. While on my way to work I decided to grab the Altoona Mirror to read the Article. I feel bad for the family members of the three men who were killed in the shooting, how terrible. I get to work and we discuss community events. How about the poor lady who was ran over several times by her significant other in Tyrone. Craziness I tell you, purue craziness. Plus this Hurricane that is landing on shore in Louisiana.
While, my weekend went by fast, as usual. Next weekend I plan on having a four day weekend. I NEED IT!!!! I am having a Labor Day Party on Sunday, Sept. 4th.
