I thought I'd update my journal for my one reader, Goodarz
3 good things about this weekend:
1. I bought a cowboy shirt on Saturday at Retrostar, I'm finally skinny enough to get away with wearing a fitted cowboy shirt. It's pretty cool, it's got flowers on it, and the brand was 'American Hustler' hahaha with a coy looking man on the label. I predict many a confusing encounter whilst wearing that shirt hahaha.
2. On Saturday night Anita and I hung out at our new favourite bar owned by this crazy American mowhawked punk guy. We got served nice cheap cocktails by our new favourite bartender Pepper, whilst listening to Jawbreaker and Gayrilla Biscuits, until we were too drunk to talk shit anymore. Maybe we might tell you where our new favourite bar is, as long as youre not a fat slut or some jock dickhead. The world needs a refuge from Switch.
3. The little lady took me along to see that 18 Visions band last night. Keep in mind that I had never heard them before so I was expecting spastic gorrila dancing and self important straght edge rants etc etc. I was as suprised as any to discover the guys in the band were as gay as a party hat, and that the band were quite good actually, sort of like a mix between Lit and Papa Roach, but y'know... GOOD!. Yeah I know, weird. I'm sure all those homophobic crucial mosh bros were questioning everything they hold dear when they discovered thier favourite band consisted of really pretty hairdressers in tight girls jeans and nice shoes doing stripper moves. I think this is tops. I bet the sluts in the band slut corner were the most suprised out of anyone, except maybe some very lucky crucial mosh bros who would be invited backstage WINK WINK. Also it was nice to see Craigos last night.
