Warped tour was pretty fuckin cool...havent been since i went with Erica back in the day. I went by myself cause everyone here is lame and listens to fuckin country. I finally met Secondshot, the guys from K-zoo who moved out here to Oakland...Really cool guys, too bad i overslept and missed their set. Sposed to be at 430 but they got bumped way early to like noon or something. But i bought both shirts they had, their 2nd album, and the last two shot glasses they had. I feel like a psycho fan, ive been talking on and off with them for almost 2 years now. So yeah, then i saw Atreyu and some of Thrice. The latter sucks live. I saw NUFAN play FINALLY! They kicked some fuckin ass. Bought another shirt from those guys, then headed to the Strung Out booth. Talked to the drummer and bought a shirt and some stickers. Got a huge one i put on the hood of the truck. They showed up late so they didnt have a spot anymore on the main stage, but one of the Volcom bands let them take 20 minutes to play the Volcom stage. Those guys are fuckin great live. It almost blew my eardrums out... Throughout the day I checked out some of the smaller bands, basically while the emo bands played the big stages. Didnt want to hear emo for some reason. I guess im kinda regaining my pretend tough guy thing. Hellcat has a pretty sweet band called Left Alone. They played some mellow ska stuff and some really fast stuff. The sax was a nice sound for a change. Who else...The Silence on the Ernie Ball stage had a decent last song as i was passing by. I missed the Unseen cause i was burnt to shit from walkin with no shirt nor sunscreen all day. I left around 7pm to try and save my tats, especially the chest piece. It was a good day, and i did awesome by myself and dealt with my social anxiety. It was great to get out and see bands again. Until next time...
