Things are lookin up
had a really good weekend. Friday went to the indoor beach party with a bunch of pals. the show overall sucked but hangin out with everyone sort of made up for it. we saw Drowing Pool & Damage Plan which complety reminded me why ive lost interest in almost 90% of all metal music. All their songs sounded the same and was just really uninspiring. Hatebreed played also and im a big fan of them. i love thier driving and raw guitar riffs. the place went insane when they played, we sat in the bleachers and saw the whole floor turn into a massive mosh pit, it was pretty crazy. there were a couple fights in between bands that were pretty funny but no blood unfortunatly.
Saturady night we went to a party in, i think was nashua. it was a birthday party for this kid i used to go to school with. a bunch of people from school were there. it was cool to see some of them since school, and cacth up with some people. stephanie came too and all i can say is she is a really inexperienced drinker and when shes intoxicated gets herself into situations that shouldnt. Shes a really sweet girl and shes means well, but should be alot more responsible about herself.
We had a very successful audition yesterday. we had sean ,the singer of a band called Doppler Effect, come down. Now if you heard his current band and then heard that he was interested in singing for a band like ours, you would be pretty interested in hearing how he could pullit off but it went really well. Doppler Effect is a very heavy metal band with a ton of screaming and noise. But he meshed pretty good with the few songs we played with him and im really excited to hear what he can do with all our other stuff. he is definatly one of the better auditions we've had. I dont like to get my hopes up but after all this is over with, there will really be no stoppin us. i have alot of faith and ever-growing confidence in our sound and style that i feel will blow alot of people away. so we'll just wait and see what the future will bring.
im probly gonna be taking the summer off of school so i can get my ass out and start working again and saving up. mommy's been talkin about a new car,which means a car for me and a world of oppurtunity for alot of things. so one can only hope.
