Rapturous Freedom!
Finally the week from hell is over! This past week (and last, mind you) I've been busting my ass in eight different Home Depots, trying to get them looking half-way decent for some big-wig walk that's supposedly going to happen next week. Anyway, I was getting to the stores at 6 and 8 in the morning. Remember I said getting to the stores, not getting up. No, I was getting up before the sun was because all these stores are inner Dallas stores, so in order to get to the store on time I had to get up at least an hour before said time, otherwise I'd be late. So I'd get to the store at 6 or 8 in the morning and then the average, average, time I left was probably around 7:30 ... PM. So yeah, all this week, pulling over 10 hour shifts, walking, lifting, climbing, carrying, pounding steel, cutting wood, jacking with computers, and driving from one store to another... in Dallas traffic. Needless to say... I'm relieved, as are the other reps, that this week is finally over. I mean yesterday I got sick before I even got to the store. Yep, I had to pull over on the shoulder of the highway and throw-up. *thumbs up* Oh yeah. But I felt a bit better. Well, after lunch, that was it... my body decided that it didn't want to work anymore 'cause it was tired and feeling sick. I drug my ass all day and stuck it through, not leaving the store until 7:30... PM.
Ahhh... venting is grand. I feel better now. I'm going to get Dr. Pepper tomorrow (today), and I'm possibly going to get a 120 gig hard drive. Yay. The only thing that's missing is Erica... since she's at a family reunion in Virginia and won't be back until next Tuesday so... I'm managing. Anyway, sleep time for me. Peace out!
