silk satin and other such frippery
it seems as if I keep talking about dresses lately. I think it helps me realieve stress. anyway... I want to make a simple regency ball gown for the twelfth night ball. I am not going to bother with the corset I will just make a bodiced petticoat(I know I know) and focus one the dress. I already have a petticao so.. yeah just the dre. Right now as I am int he dream stage I want a duchesse satin ceossover gown i white. I want this gown to be from about 1810-1815. The idea no is to line it in smthing sheer and slit the sleeves so it ashowes ad pull up the front with a bow so it showes in front as well. I will use ribon some how at the neck line and sleev rs and of course for the bows.
