Whatever I did to make youtube hate me? I'M SORRY ALREADY!!! Just let me watch the Smile of April trailer and I'll leave you alone!!! Gah. I can't figure out what the heck is wrong. Although I almost hope that it has something to do with the fact that my hotmail account won't let me check my mail either. In the meantime, my ipod decided to get sick this week. So I manage to fix it for about a day and then it comes down with something else. Not good. So I restore it to factory settings and... well I guess making sure it lasted through the night is the real test. YES! I just checked and it looks like we're in the clear.
I have a blood drive I'm going to tomorrow with my dad at the police department and on Friday I've got a test or something at the library for the part time position I applied for. Supplemental income and all that.
Have you ever heard the story of masala chai? The tea? There was a king who made a tea that supposedly had great healing powers. Legendary powers bordering on magical. Everybody wanted the recipe so when it was finally stolen, it came as no surprise. But the king had prepared for such a day and changed an ingredient when he wrote it down. The tea the theives made was good, but not magic. Ever since, everybody's always tweaked the recipe they got just a little, always hoping they'll find the king's healing brew. Okay, so I'm not looking for the king's tea, but I do want to brew my own masala. Which is really interesting because I've always ever used tea bags. It also means I get to buy a mortar and pestle which I'm completely psyched about.
BOOK NEWS: I need to name this book for charity I'm pulling together. Easier refencing and it's just funny. In any case, I emailed a family friend who used to be a lawyer. I'm hoping he'll email back with advice. I'm also currently working on an example page featuring myself. It wll not be in the book.... I'm just now wondering how many of you I've told about this. Let me know and if you don't know, I'll explain.
