Well, my new job at the library is going well, unless you factor in the fact that every few minutes I see a book that I "just need to read". lol. I just shouldn't bring my library card to work. And it may be pathetic, but just today I got my 'adult' library card. The old card I've had since before I could write my own name. In all honesty, I'm not entirely sure why I'd need a new one, but whatever.

Last couple of days I've been freaking out over Broadway musicals. (I blame Laura Benanti and her voice. :P)And while there's not much to say about it, it's been a pretty big part of my lazy life.

I finally got the example entry written for the Joyful Heart Foundation book. I was just going to have black and white pictures and the words were going to be printed in standard font with black ink.
... And then I remembered what Sabrina Ward Harrison said in one of her books (I think it was "Spilling Open"). She said that adults books were expected to be black and white and pictureless and boring, but why can't we have fun and color and fun too? So the fonts will be fun and different and color will be everywhere. Because we deserve fun too. (Ha! "We". Like I'm an adult too. Okay, legally I am, but that's a whole different ball park.)

I think I've crazy-ranted enough for now. I have a contract to write (Yeah, not looking forward to that at all...)

Have a lovely day/week/month/year guys!
