Pollywogg Holler is AMAZING. I had no idea it was going to be so much fun! Just the atmosphere of the place- it was so welcoming and relaxing (not to mention insanely cool). For those of you who don't know what Pollywogg Holler is, it's kind of hard to describe it. It's basically a bar/restaurant in the middle of the woods. To get there, you have to go on this dirt road (we took Big Red off-roading) for a couple of miles. You reach this little driveway/clearing, and you walk down a path in the woods which is surrounded by sculptures and lined with torches. You walk in the woods for a good amount of time until you come upon a cluster of shacks. It looks like everything is carved out of wood and polished. They make pizza in this big wood stove right behind the bar (which is super delicious btw). There's a little campfire circle with flattened logs to sit on, and some more neat, torch-lined paths leading into the woods. The stars are so bright and beautiful there, and the place feels fresh and clean. It was such a fun experience; I can't wait to go back again! I hope I'll be able to go before I leave Alfred. Maybe Sunday? I hope ^_^
