My computer appears to be dying. Dyiiiiing! And I have nothing to back anything up on because my external hard drive has chosen THIS MOMENT to abandon its mortal life and move on to a better place. So, Flist, if anyone has run across something similar (your screen starts shimmering really badly as though it's suffering with heat haze and jelly legs) let me know, and tell me what fixed it.
If it helps, I'm about 85% sure it's not the monitor, because I swapped monitors and it was STILL doing it.
