This is a general all-purpose header for my
Joss100 prompt table works, so it is not your imagination, you have read this before…
Just so people are aware this is my first prompt table and I hope I’m doing it right- consider yourselves warned!
Now, I figure most people get these prompt references and probably expect people to go a certain way with them, but this is me and I can never be simple. Gods only know where some of these prompts are gonna lead. Mys’ head can be truly frightening, lol.

It was your standard apocalypse, some big bad was trying to invoke (and gods it was hard not to laugh at this) the “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” to end the world as we know it, blah, blah, blah.
But what Xander was having the hardest time with (incidentally, what was causing his sporadic giggles) was that the ritual to stop them required each of the Scoobies to ‘claim’ an aspect of the Horsemen- not unlike the ritual they used to defeat ADAM.
As he sat at the Scoobie meeting listening to Willow explain the ritual, his mind kept flashing to the end ‘battle’ scene of Good Omens. Spike had bribed and browbeaten him into reading it not long after they got together. Xander still wondered if the vampire knew he would have read it without the oral incentives, but hey, over a hundred years of practice makes for a very talented mouth and who was he to pass up first-hand knowledge of it.
For his part in this little venture, Spike was more than content to play muscle. Sure he’d do the mojo when he had to, but given the choice he’d pass- thanks all the same.
When Xander started giggling, Spike was the only one to hear it, lovely vampiric hearing and all. He quirked an eye at his lover.
Xander mouthed, ‘Good Omens.’
Blue eyes sparkled as the vamp immediately understood. He inclined his head toward Buffy.
‘Adam,’ Xander mouthed.
Toward Willow.
‘Pepper’
The Watcher.
Xander thought for a moment then, ‘Brian.’ Pointing at himself, ‘Wensleydale.’
Spike locked eyes with his boy and raised his scarred eyebrow.
Smiling brightly, ‘Crowley!’
An amused smile graced Spike’s lips and he moved to sit next to his dark human.
Just then, Andrew walked in causing the lovers to crow in unison, “Dog!” as they collapse onto each other with hysterical laughter.
