So, I wrote this t'other day and I had no idea where to put it. But considering it was borne of me trying to get over a bout of Spander induced writer's block, it's going here.
Sometimes the boys won't shut up and the words come in pages and pages. Then other times they're like having a schizophrenic muse with ADHD!

*beams* Thanks hun, that means a lot. I think you're the one and only person who has read this, lol, and I'm afraid there's not much more like this guy here. See, many, many moons ago, a dear friend told me that I write great stuff, but she hated reading it 'cause it was so depressing and intense- Mys pretty much stopped showing her stuff after that, hells she all but quit writing it! Yeah, so not a lot of this kinda thing sees the light of day, or the formatting of LJ, lol.

That is unfortunate, but I can sympathize. A couple of years ago I had started a fic in a different fandom. The feedback for the prologue in my Yahoo group was overwhelming! Basically a couple of dozen "Give us more right freaking now" comments. I was so excited! Then my beta reader had finished with chappie 1 and I was set!
Turns out I had violated one of the group fic rules without realizing it. I know that happens and it's no big, adjust and move on.
But instead of just informing me of the rule so I could make the adjustments the group mod also made some snyde comments about where she assumed the plot was going.
I was so upset I haven't tried writing fanfic since. So I get where you're coming from on that. It's a damn shame because from what I've seen your stuff is intense, very intense and I just don't see enough of that written by someone with the talent to back it up.
And I just spewed "Woe is me" all over your LJ. Sorry 'bout that, lemme get a napkin and clean it up for ya. LOL

Oh, hun! *hugs you* You really shouldn't let small minded ppl like that stop you from writing fic. So says the woman who would have exactly the same reaction, lol. Still, I'd love to see you do fic, you're always one of the more insightful commenters and your humour is right up my alley, I'm betting anything you write would be grand!
Thanks for being all supportive btb. *g* Maybe one of these days Mys'll dredge up some of her other non-fic works and put them up, who knows... Though deciding which LJ to put them on, that's another matter entirely, lol.
