At some point, someone at the pod house talked about Freecycle. It was at least a year ago, and it wasn't until yesterday that I looked into it further. We've got a few large/unwieldy items to get rid of, you see. I posted two last night, one of which I didn't expect would get any takers.
About thirty seconds after posting, I had a response. While I was composing a reply, a second one came in. Within fourteen minutes, I had five people email me. A sixth had emailed by this morning.
All of them interested in the dusty, spider-inhabited, all-the-worms-are-probably-dead-I-have-no-idea worm bin. (Yes, I was honest about condition.)
No emails yet about the thing I thought had any value.
