Signs that things are not going as planned on your flight across the country:
You have an hour long delay due to mechanical problems. Never fear, a part is coming from elsewhere.
The hour-delayed departure time comes and goes with no change of information on the screen, nor any annoucement from gate staff.
Then they tell you that the part brought from elsewhere is the wrong part. There is significant disbelief and displeasure voiced from the crowd. You are told that, in theory, you're going to borrow a plane coming in from Texas and fly out with only a three hour delay.
Then they take all flight information off of the board over the gate entirely.
